SoulYard Cafe in Taman Bukit Indah is a lively coffee spot that blends a casual atmosphere with a menu that leans into creative, comfort-driven dishes. It’s the kind of place that locals come to for a relaxed meetup, especially if you’re into places where food and drinks spark conversation rather than just quick caffeine fixes.

The cafe atmosphere leans toward cozy but can get a bit noisy during busier hours, making it ideal for groups or casual catch-ups rather than solo focused work sessions. You’ll find a space decorated with thoughtful touches that feel welcoming, where the staff’s friendly approach matches the approachable vibe.

SoulYard’s coffee is a highlight, often noted for its strong, refreshing brews that give a good pick-me-up. For those who appreciate local twists, the Perilla Rice Latte stands out as an interesting choice alongside classics like Earl Grey Latte and the traditional White Coffee.

The food menu complements the drinks well, offering a mix of fusion and comfort food with dishes like Braised Pork Belly Noodle, Salmon Tea Rice, and inventive pasta options such as the kimchi and rose bacon kimchi pastas. Portion sizes are generous, making it a solid spot for casual dinners or weekend brunches, although parking can be a bit of a challenge in the immediate area.

Expect a space where the food has personality—fresh ingredients meet creative flavor combinations, such as the miso salmon chazuke and the laoganma seafood pasta, which balance spice and umami without overwhelming. For those with a sweet tooth, cakes like Strawberry Hojicha and Burnt Cheesecake offer a quieter close to your meal.

This cafe suits locals looking for a place to unwind, share a meal, or dive into something a little different from the usual cafe fare. Early evenings and weekends tend to be quieter, while after-work hours bring a livelier crowd. Whether you’re popping by for strong coffee, a casual dinner, or a chat over dessert, SoulYard offers a space that feels like a neighborhood spot with some creative edge.

Love the atmosphere. Relaxed and comfortable. Good for meetups and conversations. Food is really nice and creative. The miso salmon chasuke was really fresh, and tasty, whilst the kimchi pasta very flavourful though needs more kimchi. Yhe drinks were good and refreshing. Coffee is strong and with a good boost! Their cakes look good, must come back to try. Staff is good and friendly.

Ordered the Ebi Katsu Sando, it’s delicious with a decent portion, and I really liked the sauce combination! Also tried the Miso Salmon Chazuke; we didn’t realise it was fish broth, so the overall taste felt a bit bland as we were expecting a tea-based version. We went there for dinner, slightly difficult to find parking (had to park at roadside and walk), but the place wasn’t crowded during our visit. Menu choices for food and drinks are slightly limited, but worth a try.

Food wise, will definitely come back here. Place/Ambience can get a bit noisy. I’ve tried the Rose Bacon Kimchi Pasta, French Toast and 2 coffee drinks. The pasta is a must try and special mention to their Perilla Rice Latte.

The food here is soooo goooooodddddddd! We ordered the laoganma seafood pasta, Dan Dan noodle, seafood risotto and burnt cheese cake. For someone who doesn’t take spiciness, the spiciness of the laoganma pasta is just right. The Dan Dan noodle has a peanut butter taste, I don’t know what is it but I love it. The seafood are fresh too. Affordable prices, cozy dining environment. Definitely will be back to try the others on the menu.

SoulYard Cafe offers a cozy, clean, beautifully decorated space filled with festive Christmas paraphernalia, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Located at Tmn OUG, this eatery was recommended by my wife, we enjoyed the Salmon Bibimbap—a delightful fusion of Norwegian trout, kimchi rice, guacamole, onsen egg, ebiko and seaweed. The Nyonya Laksa Pasta was a surprising standout, featuring tender buttermilk fried chicken, fuzok, cherry tomato, and shrimp. The Jasmine Plum Pu-er, a refreshing blend of Pu-er tea, homemade jasmine syrup, lime, and plum, perfectly complemented the meal. Overall, SoulYard truly delivers on its promise: “Every Incomplete Soul has Its Own Solution.” Highly recommended!

Love the food here. And I found my new favourite festive drink. The Black Forest Noël is velvety, floral, and the chocolate flakes on top are the perfect touch. 10/10 would recommend for a cozy treat would definitely come here again

The food was nice, but seating is limited. I went there during the weekend dinner time, and the queue was quite long, but I think it was worth it because the food was tasty. No harm giving it a try.

The Dan Dan Mian is super nice!!! Loved the flavour and texture and no ash note at all! The burnt cheesecake is also really good — rich, creamy, and not too sweet. Even my kids love it! Managed to take a photo this time because it looked too good to skip Definitely worth a visit!
